Ozstatman
See in the picture showing the firewall that the data plate is there. The numbers on that will tell you what it is! There's also the large "Theft Proof Number" embossed into the firewall but records about that haven't survived. Give us a close up of the data plate and all should be revealed! Ozstatman
From the Data Plate a 1082 is a 1937 Six Touring Sedan, see the link to the PackardInfo Website for more info on that model. http://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/modelinfo/viewmodel.php?model=
CarlLaFong
BTW, it i not a "Ford Packard". Ford and Packard were separate companies and had nothing to do with each other. Poor thing has been horribly butchered. I hope you got it for free or nearly so Edited November 7, 2015 by CarlLaFong (see edit history)
Green37
It's a 37. Like mine. If the wheelbase is 120", it's a 120 (8cylinder). If 115", a 115 (6cylinder). Edited November 7, 2015 by Green37 (see edit history)

Hudsy Wudsy
Even in it's current tragic state, the beauty of every line and curve shines through. Edited November 24, 2015 by Hudsy Wudsy (see edit history)
JACK M
9 inch Ford rear end might make it a Ford Packard. Sorry, couldn't resist. Edited November 23, 2015 by JACK M (see edit history)

rbk
So not to confuse people down the road let's quit the Packford jokes. It is a 1937 Packard 120.Ford had nothing to do with this car. Robert Kapteyn
Hudsy Wudsy
Henry Ford's casket was carried in a Packard hearse.. That's a fairly tenuous connection, though.
Ozstatman
"It is a 1937 Packard 120" From the Data Plate, it's a '37 115C.

Robert Kapteyn But Ford does have something to do with this car in question as it has a Ford rear end installed. Some people may call it scrap, would that make you feel better? Not me, I may like to call it 'yard art' though. Restorer32
The "date" and "delivered to" have deteriorated over time I'm guessing Date and Delivered to (it would be the dealer who sold it) are sometimes missing.
Restorer32
So to answer your question specifically it is a Packard Model 1082 '37 115c 6 cylinder Touring Sedan. It would have been on a 115" chassis.
