It is in better condition than my first car was when I started on it. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The car has rattle can primer sprayed on it, and is currently tarped. I check on it frequently and air it out. I will include two door pontoons, some quarter pontoon extensions that need repair work, a decent grill assembly and a different header for the convertible top. The car comes with the window switches and bezels and the rear ashtrays. Has included both bumpers. Car is titled in my name.The engine is complete, but locked up. Included is a new head gasket. I was going to see if I could free it up. I will include seats from a smaller series Oldsmobile two door sedan. They are a little narrow for the car, but could be modified. Vent window frames are NOT included. I do have some nee castings available, but they would be at an additional cost.Cost $7500.00 firm. That is a real project car, wondering what a rust free example would sell for, in driving condition? My 41 Limited had some rust, about 10% as much as this one, and I know how hard I worked to repair, so this would not be for the faint of heart, and hiring it out would cost more than I can imagine. As far as I can tell, only missing hood center stainless and hood ornament and two pieces of stainless that hold convertible top weatherstripping. The air cleaner is also MIA. And I have bought a lot more in the ~60 years between. I have some recent regrets about passing on others. Space is a problem now. Too many run and drive. I may have to sell one that runs, drives, and looks good to make room for an insurmountable project. My wife knows and has commented at times when there was not project underway. Maybe she sees that I may have come to a point where I am beginning to recognize my limitations in skills, time, and money. That's a sobering thought, kind of a dusk I will not go into gently. Sometimes this hobby stuff gets taken too seriously. I contacted Jack when he first offered it but there was competition with this: And this: And I am short one indoor space as it is. The people whom would tell me "don't waste your time on that stuff", well, I guess their playtime is more valuable than mine. Jack was about 5 hours from me and I did plan the route to his place.
