Guest my3buicks
Don't have a number, but they were common and not done in limited numbers and still show up occasionally. Do a search on the forum, they have been discussed in the past. I believe all 84 Buicks carried a decal Olympic symbol on the rear quarter windows. The Olympic Century was an attractive package but would have only minor value difference today if side by side with another equal 84 Century. I think other than badging on the rear trunk and front fenders, there was no difference than you could have ordered any other Century. NTX5467
There were MANY "Olympic Edition" items back then, other than just Buicks. More of "keepsake" value than anything else. At the time, though, it was a "big deal". I concur on the "book value" of the Olympic Edition cars, BUT if the car is in exceptional condition, the fact that it's an Olympic Edition can be icing on the cake. Larry Schramm
If anyone needs an Olympic emblem, I have a couple of NOS that I would like to sell.
