Guest Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Any idea why there were two completely different radios and dash plates offered for '39? I'm wondering if the first image was from an early '39 because the radio looks identical to the '38 radio. Then after they were all used up they switched to the larger radio? Or were both radios offered throughout the model year, one as a cheaper option and the other as a more deluxe choice? Guest Jim_Wilson Posted August 31, 2015 Share Posted August 31, 2015 My car has the Deluxe model radio which is similar to the one shown in the picture on the right, except it has a column of push buttons on the right side.
