smithbrother
In approx. 1953-54 Buick sent to my fathers dealership a HAND HELD working display piece of a DYNAFLOW transmission/converter. It was approx. 8-10" in diameter, was made of clear see-thru plastic, filled with colored water, and had a hand crank on one side, and a knob on the other. You would crank the handle, while holding the knob on the other, and you could feel the movement thru such. You could see the fins/turbine thru the clear plexi. It was a cool piece, have never seen another, but would like to find, or at least see a picture of one. Hoping someone has knowledge of this. smithbrother
I can't believe it, with ALL the 'know-it-alls' on this site, no one has any knowledge of this super cool piece. Lol. YOU are human after all......I guess I'll just have a bowl of worms. heheDale in Indy
superbuick
I didn't open you post at first, I would like to see what the person is looking for listed in the title. But enough of that, I do have the exact demonstration item you are talking about. They were made of plastic and got very brittle with time.I don't think many survived. I will try to locate and test my skills on posting a picture.Steve F

smithbrother
It was/is a COOL piece. I recall customers playing with ours, and enjoying the feel of it working. Hoping superbuick can come with pictures. Dale in Indy
Buicknutty
Wow, what an item that would be to have. I can imagine that 50's plastic (even today's) wouldn't stand the test of time too well. I hope that a picture of it two gets posted. Keith
