tigersdad
I know that Henry Yeska used to sell the step plates with the cloisenne emblems as I had purchased items from him in the past. Is there anyone else out there that sells them? Is Henry's son still selling the Packard parts? Thx! Jay
Guest bkazmer
I don't think step plates had cloisonné inserts, just cast script

trimacar
Personal opinion, step plates are a so-so accessory, and late 20's into the 30's, look very dated, and do not add any attractive feature to a car.Beauty in the eye of and so forth.... tigersdad
Thanks, Dave. You are correct, now that you put it that way! Jay

West Peterson
Many times the fewer accessories on a car, the better looking it is.
Walt G
I agree with West, a lot of collectors want to "personalize" their cars and then wind up adding to much. Step plates need to be attached by drilling holes to mount them securely. I have always been extremely reluctant to drill holes to mount any accessory on any car , bolt on something - o.k. , you're not making a hole. But everyone has their opiion as to what looks good for them.
tigersdad
The step plate was the only accessory I was going add to the exterior. I did find this today with the original cardboard insert. This is being added to the inside. Glove box or under the seat with the tools.
