Phillip Robinson
I still need a clevis rod for the back brakes. Bears fan had it right with the item but I still cannot find a supplier. This is a 1929 chevrolet tourer with 4 wheel brakes. This rod is 6 inches long. I want to get 2. Thanks Phil. rb6673
I have owned 29 - 30 chevies since I was 15 years old.Maybe I can help.Is this the long rods (one for each wheel) that goes from the central control rod to the rear?
Phillip Robinson
Thanks for the repy. The clevis rod is at the front of the rear brakes. It is 6 inches long. I have since then had the original welded to the correct shape and size.

Phillip Robinson
Thanks Bearsfan for the offer. I did have the rod welded, and it looks like a good job. So I will hold off on the offer for the moment to see if I have any problems. I couldnot find a new one, or an old one that was not repaired. Just trying gb to on get these brakes workin bit better. Thanks Phil

Phillip Robinson
Thanks to you Bears Fan. I did get the pin, but it must be for a 1928. Anyway, no problem. I have since sorted out the issues and the brakes work fine now. I am using one of my old pins that I was able to get repaired. Thanks
