Hi! We've just got our red 89 TC up and running and on the road. It's been garaged for the last 20 years or so. Our family purchased it from the original owner in Texas back then but it has been in Las Vegas for the better part of that time. We just shipped it to Washington DC and will be using it daily for short distances. Glad to see there are some others in the area and a place to come to for advice!

Welcome to the group. I'm just sorry you are not in Las Vegas because we have a very active local group here. Washington, DC is not a desirable place for a TC to live and drive about. Unles you can have a presidential motorcade surrounding you. If we can help from this sunny, dry desert with any questions you have, don't hesitate. There are many here on this blog that are full of answers.

Yes,the sunny, dry, desert garage really helped preserve the TC. We just took the hardtop off for the first time in at least 15 years and the soft top is immaculate. We are a little worried about the humidity in DC but that's where we live now so no choice.
