keiser31
Thanks very much. seems rather hard to get answers here. Did I offend everyone some how??No, you did not offend anyone here. Sometimes it takes a while to get a reply as folks may be searching for the item for you in order to tell you where to find it. Your gasket is probably the same as the one on my 1931 Dodge, but i have no idea what it looks like. I have not had it apart in a long, long time. kirby655
Thanks - Have contacted Olson's Gaskets, Have not found victor gaskets as yet. If worse comes to worse will try and make one. I believe it should be a flat gasket based on how the parts mate where the head pipe connects to the manifold.

Matt Harwood
I, too, thought Pierce Arrow, not Plymouth, and since I don't know much about Pierce Arrow exhaust gaskets, I didn't say anything. I don't know much about Plymouths, either, but I would have figured that any of the major gasket makers would have something for a more commonly availbale car like that and would have said as much. A teacher had this great advice for me which is still relevant today: The question you ask frames the answer you get. Be specific and detailed and you'll be surprised by the quality and volume of the responses you get here. kirby655
My bad - Plymouth PA 1931 NAPA et. al do not have anything close. Lesson in asking questions taken. Of course one could always ask for clarification. Olson has them available. Have one on order. Thanks to everyone for the assistance despite the poor question. Larry Schramm
No, nothing offensive, but maybe some people don't know what a 31 PA is . This is absolutely true. It helps to put the year, brand, model, and engine information in requests for help. kirby655
Thanks for the good advice. Gasket ordered. Also oil pan. Any chance someone knows if bearings are available for a 1931 Plymouth PA?
ply33
Thanks for the good advice. Gasket ordered. Also oil pan. Any chance someone knows if bearings are available for a 1931 Plymouth PA?Looking at the original parts book, it looks like main bearings were replaceable. But the first listing I see for replaceable rod bearings is for '33 PC and PD so I think those were poured babbit from the factory. I would check with places like Egge Machine in Southern California for the main bearings.
keiser31
The 1931 bearings are babbit and EGGE Machine can help. They did my 1931 Dodge Brothers bearings.
