Chris Bamford
A good friend in our local club has owned for many years one of the two "1928 Porters" from the My Mother The Car TV series. Action photo below was taken last year — the driver is Randall Whipple, who played the roll of eight-year-old Randy Crabtree in the series. Whipple had occasionally been allowed to sit, only, in the car back in the 1960s; he was pretty tickled to get the chance to drive it decades later! Period photo is the Crabtree family from My Mother The Car (from left): the late Maggie Pierce, Jerry Van Dyke, Randall Whipple, and Cindy Eilbacher. Chris Bamford
...Do you know which of the 2 your friend owns? It is the one that saw most of the action/driving scenes. The other one was primarily a background car. Here is another shot of the car with owner Dave Bodnar standing and Whipple at the wheel.
