Marty Roth
I hope whomever bought it appreciates and takes as good care of it as you did.Vic, the new caretaker is near Minden, Nevada, and is a Buick guy. I'm confident that he will take good care of the '34. We were both delighted that Lyle, the prior (2nd) owner who had the Buick from the 1970s until 1995, was also on the Durango, Colorado Tour where the "Passing of the Guard" took place. The photo below, taken at the Sky Ute Casino in Ignacio, Colorado documents ownership from the 1970s through 2015 with the newest (4th) owner's hand on the fender, 2nd owner in the center, and me on the right. Marty Roth
Marty that is one classy way to handle a car sale with previous owner in the picture also .Thank you Mark, We just had to wonder if the preacher, the original owner who cared for his Buick, might still be alive. Assuming that he bought it in late 1933 or early 1934, and were certainly already a least in his twenties, then he would be at least 100 years of age now. Likely he has gone to his final reward, but wouldn't it have been fantastic to have had the complete lineage?
