Guest Dale in Vancouver
Was toying with the idea of fitting the custom armrests and switches to my ('64) standard interior. However, after reading forum discussions, even if I could find the parts, looks like it's more trouble than it's worth. Comments ? Thanks, Dale. RivNut
Personally, I think the '64's standard interior is not seen enough. It's nice to see something other than what most everyone else has. If you were to do the door panels, then the black vinyl on the console would look lonely. The '65 that won its class at the '15 ROA meet in Colorado Springs had a standard interior in it. I thought it looked really sharp.
Guest Dale in Vancouver
Thanks Ed. Hadn't really thought of it in that light. You are quite right, and as the car is all original I realize it should be left that way. Still thinking about power vents, but only if I can find the correct switches for the standard interior - may take a while. Cheers, Dale.
