Guest Jeff 1952
The Entrance information has arrived at some households so yours should be coming soon, to a mailbox near you. Saturday, the show field will be open to the Public. Please remember, this is private property which our host Mr. Bulgari, has graciously opened up for the Buick Club of America. Glassesguy
Got my packet yesterday. Surprised there was not a map included but I see it is available in Jeff's recent post. Will volunteers be receiving a separate notice on assignments? Thanks. The excitement builds!
Matt Harwood
No packet for us yet and Melanie was asking me about it last night. Glad to see they're on their way. I'm both excited and nervous about driving the '41 Limited. It's about 425 miles for us each way, which doesn't seem like much until you're in a 75 year old car full of unobtainable parts. We're going to do a stopover in Hershey for an overnight stay, then finish the trip, but even Cleveland to Hershey is about 350 miles and 7 hours. The big limo has never missed a beat, but long drives like this always make me very nervous. Planning on leaving Thursday for a late Friday morning arrival. We'll just have the weekend there, but it's hard to take more time away from work. Anyone else heading that way on Thursday want to convoy? We'll be taking 422 most of the way, which is a secondary road with 50-60 MPH speeds that should be just fine for the Limited. I hate hammering it on interstates, although it seems perfectly happy at 60 MPH. Fingers crossed for the journey...

Go there for all of the celebration Maps. Buick will have a presence at the Buick Celebration with both Classic and new Concept cars; Thursday through Saturday. Please make sure you have your BCA credentials at all times. This is private property and until Saturday, open to BCA registered guests only. For those going to Dorney Park Thursday, the Allentown police will escort us a single group, from the show site, to Dorney.

JohnD1956
I did not see where you had to have your BCA Membership card. That would be a problem for me as well. I believe if you just put the special BCA static cling decal that you received on your windshield that will get you access to the show field. But hopefully someone will clarify that. Guest Jeff 1952
There is no need for your BCA membership card so let's put a halt to this thread right now. You have your decal on your car, which will stay on your car during the week. Everything else you will need, you can pick up at Registration at 801 N. Ellsworth Street.. As to Mr. B's. collection, as I have stated above, that will be open to BCA members, Wednesday-Friday.
unimogjohn
Jeff, quick question. I have not received my packet in the mail yet. If I do not receive it before I leave for the show, can I park the trailer at the show and then go to registration or do I have to figure out where to park the truck/trailer near registration before I can drop off the trailer. jscheib
John, To help answer this question, have you referenced the maps on the web site under 5oth Anniv. This should help clarify the parking arrangements for cars and trailers. John

jscheib
I thought I might as well tack this on here. I am surprised no one has asked or raised a question before. A friend, native to the area has advised me that there are two gas stations in the area that offer ethanol free gas. One is the Sonoco at 3220 Airport Roads, near many hotels being used. Another is Boyer's Junction Market at 122 Pricetown Road, Fleetwood, PA offering various octane ratings, but unbranded. Hope this helps. Buicknutty
Just this morning I was trying to print the maps that are on the website, and I was having trouble with them printing properly. They were coming up much too large, like 15-16 in wide and not autosizing down to print on a standard page. I was able to download the file and open it with Photoshop and resized it, and then it printed fine. Anyone else having this issue? Keith

1932chev
From what I read in the Allentown Morning Call, Saturday show visitors will only be able to view a few cars from Mr. Bulgari's collection. Can anyone verify if this is true?
