1940 Dodge Coupe

I just came across this Craigslist ad for a '40 Dodge coupe that appears to be all original with the added bonus of a freshly rebuilt engine for sale in Nebraska. I don't have any opinion as what the correct price for it might be, but you can be sure that there is someone, somewhere with a crate engine eyeballing it with designs:

Yeah, they are handsome cars  -- '40s and '41s had such great grilles, plus the speed lines on the fenders. I think I wish they had kept the speed lines throughout the '40s. I don't care as much for the postwar look. I think that the fenders look needlessly heavy, but of course that was the desired effect, I guess.
