Pete Phillips
Restoring a rare 1962 Dodge Polara 500 4-dr. hardtop1. Does anyone know how the accelerator pedal is attached to the floor and how to remove it? I have removed the cotter pin and attachment at the top, but how is the bottom attached?2. Where can I get some new or better armrests for the doors, assuming these are not restorable?3. Anybody know where one of these '62 Dodges is in a salvage yard, one with decent interior parts, such as sun visors, interior door post covers for the 4-dr. hardtop, and other small interior parts? '62 Plymouth Fury would be similar. All of the interior soft trim parts are sun-fried here in Texas. Thanks for any help.Pete PhillipsLeonard, Texas
Scotts_DG8
I believe that the pedal is bolted to the floor with the nuts being removed from the bottom side...
