Hershey flea market

I'd like to sell for the first time at hershey. I have a 30 foot class a motorhome. Will I need to request 2 spaces? Do I have any say where they put me? I've noticed some fields look like a parking lot. I don't want to try and sell in an area that has no vendors, but if I have no say I guess I will have to take my lumps.

I believe the spaces are 10 x 30 feet, so you'd need at least two.  We're all friendly old car guys, but some people get very territorial at Hershey, and an inch over the line marking the boundaries of your space is unacceptable.

 

When the time comes make sure you get your request in immediately, I believe there are numerous people who request spaces but don't get any, due to demand.  I also believe you can request a field, but that's no guarantee of any kind where you'll end up.....

You get what your assigned.  and it difficult to move, you just keep requesting,  you likely be assigned to the red field below the stadium,  but sometime one get lucky.  you delineate want to request two spaces.  either side by side of back to back (drive through) might be better if you lucky. 

 

I have 3 space together in front of the Giant Center on the green field, it taken since 1992 to get this locations.  I had some nice red field near the stadium  a few years back, that can be a good area too as there  shower and restroom close by to.   work great for towing the camper,  you want to arrive  Tuesday  or early Wednesday,  too with a big motor home, or it could get difficult to impossible to get into your space. 

 

Watch the June/July quarterly magazine, then send you information in quickly and money Quickly ,  you might even be able to sign up on the internet now. if first come first service for vacant spaces.

Ok, thanks for the advice.  I sent in the request card that came in the mag today.  I requested two spaces and if I get something I'll show up first thing tuesday, I only live about an hour away.  I figured since I've been going to hershey all of my life, I should become a vendor.  I would like to sell some left over parts to finance another project.  It will be a mixed bag, model T, CJ2a JEEP parts, and maybe some Triumph parts if my Dad comes along.
