Dan O
I have finally secured a replacement deck lid for my convertible Roadmaster from a Riviera. On a close look, I see some tiny holes on the inside frame that look like they were made at the factory due to their precision and placement. They don't appear to ever had a screw wound into them. My original lid does not have them at all. Does anyone know what these are for? Was there some type of light trim panel that would cover up the black insulation pad that is between the exterior panel and frame? I have attached some photos and point to a few of them but there are more. While we are on the topic - anyone know a source for replacement black insulation pad? JohnD1956
I'm going to guess it was someones attempt to lighten it for drag racing...
Dan O
Well, that's the best answer so far, plus that explains the Paxton blower on the straight eight! So, I'll go with that and fill 'em up and cover them over. Edited May 24, 2015 by Dan O (see edit history)
