Guest Phil Cordery Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 I have my Maxwell AA Engine,stripped down, ie. both blocks & pistons with rods removed, front flywheel & front cover removed, so crank is supported on its rear bearing only, stuck solid. so I need instruction help in how to strip the gearbox from the other end,It has a large end plate, does the centre shaft pull out in one piece or do I have to seperate as I go, need to strip to find out what is locking my crank, at the moment I can turn the Drums in the box by turning the tail shaft, but crank is locked solid, any ideas anyone/, loads of people reading this Forum, but so far no assistancePlease help.
