I have my Maxwell AA Engine, stripped down, ie. both blocks & pistons with rods removed, front flywheel & front cover removed, so crank is supported on its rear bearing only, stuck solid.

so I need instruction help in how to strip the gearbox from the other end,It has a large end plate, does the centre shaft pull out in one piece or do I have to seperate as I go, need to strip to find out what is locking my crank, at the moment I can turn the Drums in the box by turning the tail shaft, but crank is locked solid, any ideas anyone/, loads of people reading this Forum, but so far no assistance

Please help.

So no one replied, stripped the gearbox, now down to the problem, Rear main has seized solid. so we have a crank free to air at both ends, now trying to figure how to press crank out.
