This 48 Crosley convertible runs ( off of a gas can - needs a new gas tank ), is very solid, and was customized sometime in the early 1950's judging by the original lead in the body that we saw when all the paint was stripped off. All we have had done is sand the body down to metal, smooth it out and fix dings and dents from 50 plus years of storage. There is a handmade convertible top frame that goes with the car but we were not going to use it. What you see is what you get.
I have the custom front and rear chrome bumpers that came back from the plating shop ( Knox Custom Chrome ) and they are wrapped up in the garage and go with the car, along with bumper brackets, the windshield center post and a few other odds and ends.
The body shop that has been working on it slowly over the past year painted it in a light ivory. All you have to do is finish the interior and assemble the few trim bits. I would put new tires on ( still has 50 year old tires ) and go over it mechanically. It is not as good a paint job as I hoped - the original people working on it left the shop and they never bothered to tell me.
Email if you have questions. We have the original, open title, from the early 1950's plus a bill of sale if you buy it.
Car is in S. Florida firstname.lastname@example.org FIRST $ 5,000.00 takes the car - not interested in trades
