Waldren
I believe I have an extra set of stainless but no pot metal center piece. smiley303us@yahoo.com I am restoring a 42 Continental coupe. Lee Waldren Fort Myers, Fl.
Guest bigtoyzII
I am pretty sure he is looking for a complete grill. Someone in the past removed the '42 and put a '46 in so he wants to put a '42 back in. I will get in touch with him and let him know what you have just in case. Thanks and please let me know if you hear of the pot metal pieces.
Waldren
There is a lot envolved in changing that front end back. I have done it a couple of times in the past. You may need to buy the lower radiator pan assembly. The Post war has driving lights in the corner where the 42 has three narrow chrome bands that snap on.The pot metal center is available from two differant members. Is is expensive but available. I have their names if you want to e-mail me at smiley303us@yahoo.com. I am more than happy to help you in any way that I can. Lee Waldren
Barry Wolk
I don't know if you ever found them, but I have '42 grill parts. The P.O. of my car amassed a bunch of parts. All need some repair, but some are quite nice. I have a NOS center section, but it is cracked. I have extra "whiskers", too. What I want is a for-real '42 rear bumper.
