Steve Moskowitz
There is NO host hotel for the Grand National Meet! However, we will have a complete listing of hotels in the area by the end of this week. checker
I'm not understanding the dual Grand National & Southeastern Meet in Shelbyville. I know it's June 14-16 but what days are which? Is the GNs show one day and southwest meet another? Is there a schedule?

charlier
Pat, Thank You So Very, Very Much for posting this information. This was well above and beyond the call to answer my question and is greatly appreciated. My prior request for the name and address of the venue for the show was so I could figure out the distance from the hotel(s) to the venue. You must have been reading my mind. Thanks Again! Steve Moskowitz
Charlie, reading your mind would be a scary thing! The meet chairman gave us the information this morning and I asked Patty to post it...the region is telling us that rooms are filling up fast! There seems to be a huge demand for this AGN so people should make reservations early as possible. I just heard from another member that some of the rooms are pricey so make sure you ask for the AACA block!
charlier
Charlie, reading your mind would be a scary thing!Yes, that would be a scary thing  and I make no where near enough money to pay for therapy for people who did read my mind. Then again most car people I know do have a few loose nuts and bolts or we would not love old vehicles so much. Thanks again to the Hosting Region, Patty & Yourself for getting the word out so early about the hotel situation for this event. Guest CT Mark
For those (like me) that searched this thread, all of the Shelbyville hotels are now sold out. I ended up in Tullahoma at the Holiday Inn.

42cady
I received my registration packet for the Shelbyville show but in the envelope was only a registration card for the Grand National show on Friday but no registration card for the National Meet on Saturday. How can I obtain a registration card for the Saturday show or who should I contact? Thanks, Larry

42cady
Thanks Steve and Lynn. What a great staff we have at National. One call to Lynn and everything was taken care of. Any time I have contacted the National staff I have found them outstanding and caring people. I am sure the dedication of the staff is why the AACA is one of the largest and most respected car club in the world. Thanks again, Larry
Bhigdog
The link to the Nats meet info on the AACA registration site appears to be broken. I found it by going directly to the Celebration City region's site. BTW, they did an excellent job of posting the meet info, including the tri-fold and field lay out map...........bob

checker
I have an attire question. I've attended the banquets at Hershey and at Stowe where the men dressed in business casual. I also attended the banquet in Philly for the National Awards where it was black tie. What is the Grand National banquet dress code? I wasn't planning on packing a tie, unless that's appropriate.ThanksDoug
dbirchmire
Some dress in business casual with or without a tie. I will be wearing a suit on fri. night and more business casual on sat. And a few wear a nice golf shirt and a pair of dockers paints. I hope this helps.

checker
Somewhat less on Saturday? I'm surprised since more cars are eligible then. I'm attending mainly for Friday but since I'm there, I’m attending Saturday also.
