Thanks for the comments and to Steve, I feel the Dynamat made a huge difference in the car. The original sound deadening was loose in a lot of places but the car is now extremely quiet on the expressway. I am still waiting for the antenna bezel to come back from the plater's and I have a couple of small problems to resolve.

This is the rendering I had Steve Stanford do of the car. I'm back on it ,and hopefully will have it on the road soon.

That car is looking very cool Rivireric. What size are those wires/tires?

Steve

The wheels and tires in the picture when the car was blue is 15 x 7 reverse with a Firestone FR721 215/75-15. The white primer picture is 15 x 6 standard Truspokes with Skylark knock offs, and the same FR 721's. I Had a set of 72 spoke Zeniths made for it now ,and I'm running a 6.70 bias ply Goodyear tire now.

Yes, thanks....these are both mine...my weekend hobbies...had the 58 for 15 years or so and the 65 riviera i have been working on/off for 5 years or so. In my profile there are some more pictures in my album....thanks...

Nice car, dabrille. I like the '58 Impala and the GS too. Are they yours or customer cars? Nice work for sure.

This is some pics of my 68. I grafted in a section from a 70 GS hood and had a functional air cleaner. Later I rebuilt the engine and added a B4B intake as a result the air cleaner no longer fit under the hood.

My fix was to redo the hood using this custom fiberglass hood section designed for a Skylark. Once grafted on and finished I was able to put the color matched GS air cleaner back on. Now she draws nothing but cool air from the top of the hood.
