I believe there are at least 2 or 3 different ones for 27. If they are the same as 24-26 drums they use the w-14933 lens. If they are the 124 sport they use another lens, slightly smaller, and if they are the bullet style sport then I do not know what lense those take. The 1928 128 "fast four" MAY take the same lense as the 1927 124 sport but then again I am not sure on that either. They look very similar.

Looks like someone's landau bars are upside down...a very sweet and rare car otherwise. And sorry to point out a booboo.

They are just tight, maybe from plating,Is a lot easy to fold when upside down,I was hoping nobody will notice it, Do you happened to know how many of this particular car were built on 1928? thanks again

Those are the 1927 124 sport headlights I refered to. They use a different lens than the 24-27 standard drum headlight. Slightly smaller. I agree with Bob, that is a 1927 124 model car unless it could be a carry over very early into the 28 production run. Or sold after the 28's started. Very nice desirable car!

There may be a number on the lens you have. If you can get that it would be very helpful. And since the year is in question you should get rid of the car. I would be happy to take it of your hands so you don't have to suffer! :D Just kidding of course! I really like the car.

That the same head light that was use on the standard 6 There was one of these advertized in the DB club news a few years ago in Mass. that some had die and daughters were trying to unload it.

As Per the Dodge Story this model were built from April 25th to july 7th just inside the series 124 brief 1928 model only 73 days of production then the Standard 6 models were made. I do think the side mount finders for this model is wrong as they were monted in the rear.not to mock the car it's real nice and If dave can't take it off your hands I will. LOL JUst jokeing

Apologies to Mrpinky for hijacking your 1925 dodge brothers parts thread!

Jferrer, the lens part number should be molded on to the edge of DB monogrammed lenses, usually out of view without removing the headlight surround. That will confirm whether the #14933 lens is correct for you

John
