dwollam
I believe there are at least 2 or 3 different ones for 27. If they are the same as 24-26 drums they use the w-14933 lens. If they are the 124 sport they use another lens, slightly smaller, and if they are the bullet style sport then I do not know what lense those take. The 1928 128 "fast four" MAY take the same lense as the 1927 124 sport but then again I am not sure on that either. They look very similar. Texacola
The visible portion of my '27 lens (inside dia. of rim) measures 7 1/2 inches.Too cold to go out and remove rim to measure entire dia. of lens. Have you checked ebay? See them there quite often.

Guest Jferrer
I know,I tried to put them the wright way but they didn't want to fold in the correct direction, one of this days I'll spray some wd or 3in1 and try again, thanks for looking and coments
keiser31
Switching them to opposite sides may work. They were made to only fold one way, I believe.
Guest Jferrer
They are just tight, maybe from plating,Is a lot easy to fold when upside down,I was hoping nobody will notice it, Do you happened to know how many of this particular car were built on 1928? thanks again

JACK M
Switching the bars to the opposite sides would be the only way to turn them over.
dwollam
Those are the 1927 124 sport headlights I refered to. They use a different lens than the 24-27 standard drum headlight. Slightly smaller. I agree with Bob, that is a 1927 124 model car unless it could be a carry over very early into the 28 production run. Or sold after the 28's started. Very nice desirable car! dwollam
There may be a number on the lens you have. If you can get that it would be very helpful. And since the year is in question you should get rid of the car. I would be happy to take it of your hands so you don't have to suffer! Just kidding of course! I really like the car. Guest John1918
Apologies to Mrpinky for hijacking your 1925 dodge brothers parts thread!Jferrer, the lens part number should be molded on to the edge of DB monogrammed lenses, usually out of view without removing the headlight surround. That will confirm whether the #14933 lens is correct for youJohn

Bob Scafani
NO model 124 or 128 had side mount fenders. Your car is a model 124. more model 124 photos. some aren't much to start with. The car in the third picture has the original paint. This was the only factory color available.
