Guest northmn
My Boss radio doesn't pull in as many FM stations as my much newer car radio does.I've bin told that the newer receivers are better now.I have rebuilt the aerial.Would a signal booster help & if so what's a good one. Also the cassett adapter I use on my newer radio works fine to play music through but the Boss just clicks and won't play through the adapter.Whats's wrong? Rawja
I just had my '84 Seville Bose radio repaired/rebuilt by www.MNRElectronics.com Had a whole host of issues (including weak tuner and inop. cassette), 200 bucks later and it's as good as new.Just a suggestion. Guest Richard D
Have you noticed a decline in the number of stations that come in clear? Has it always been this way? Sometimes the antenna connector at the bottom of the antenna will get corroded and attenuate the signal. If it has always been this way a FM signal booster may help. And Rawja has a good point, your radios tuner may need to be realigned and checked for sensitivity.
