The double-decked Stratocruiser was the ultimate in airborne luxury during the 1950's. The type was a commercial derivative of the B-29 Superfortress, and, sadly, none of the Stratocruisers have survived. One of the major collector car clubs in my area is comprised of Boeing employees. She will be 28 on the 31st of Dec. She looks to be about 4 in this picture. She was probably showing off with her new bike. I'll have to post others starting with my Dad's 41 Super.
