MartyWorld
The triple white tires found on many 65 Gran Sport Riv's andlater would be nice to have. I know Coker makes them for theCad's and Lincoln's but they are way too tall.I think the triple whites are the most beautiful tires around.Would the ROA have some influence on Coker to have them made again? I have looked at Coker's current offerings and it looks likethey make tires for vehicles I would have a hard time believingthey would sell many of.The Riv triple whites would be another story. What's the chance of having this done?Marty
Guest Riviera66
Marty:It's not well known, but DiamondBack Classics will custom make any whitewall design you can dream up. These 3 stripe tires were used up to '69 on Rivieras... I know of a '69 Riviera owner (down in Texas) who had a set made up for his car... and they do look stunning. Plus, unlike those Coker tires, you can have the look and still have radial smoothness and handling.Darwin Falk1966-70 ROA Technical Advisor
