We have decided to sell our convertible solely because of our lack of useage. This car was purchased as a gift for my wife for Valentines day 2007. It is a Florida car, with no rust. Everything is working except maybe a few switch lights. I have not been able to compare this car with any others as we do not know anyone else with a Reatta. The driver's side seat is worn and the leather near the knee has a tear and needs replacement, but the rest of the interior is in quite good condition. The engine comparment is exceptionally clean. The trunk looks like showroom condition. All rubber seals are good. The car was purchased with faulty brakes, but a new accumulator from GM parts and a used pressure switch fixed the brakes. It now passes the Reatta brake test well. We bought this car from a dealer in New Port Richey Florida and he did not have any history of when the motor was replaced with a GoodWrench GM factory rebuilt, but said it was done in the Miami area, 2 years before. The engine and transmission function perfectly. I have not tried to restore this car in any way. It could use new paint and a good cleaning. I believe it has less than normal wear and tear for its year and mechanically it is great. It would make someone a great daily driver as it operates very well. We have put about 3000 miles on it. This is a strong, well running, vehicle, but shows normal wear and tear for its age. There are no leaks and the AC blows cold. We have many spare parts including electronic dash, headlight actuators, environmental panel, headlight switch, window actuator, accumulator, BCM, ECM, power supply and countless other parts purchased on Ebay. We can deliver the car on route to Florida, from Michigan, in October. This is the only place advertising this very sharp, garage kept, car is advertised. The car is in Traverse City,
