Guest RayG
Need to replace the starter in my '40 Cadillac 60S (Delco-Remy 1107912). Have located a starter from a '47 Cadillac (Delco-Remy 1107931). Does anyone know if these are interchangeable? Would greatly simplify things if I can use the newer starter. Thanks.
Guest imported_JPIndusi
RayG:According to my Hollander Interchange Manual, 1107931 replaces 1107912 and 1107923. This is for Cadillac all, 1941-48. I suspect that the 1940 is covered as well.Joe, BCA 33493
Guest RayG
Thanks Joe,Appreciate the help. It looks as though All Cads of the 40's/50's has the correct replacement starter so will proceed in that direction. But knowing that there are other options is beneficial. Again, thanks.
