Guest dipnic10 Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 Hi, what is the current repair for broken door pin switches these days are relacements available? and is the triangular peice on the passenger door that contacts the pin removable? Jim Cannon Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 Lou-These switches are a known weak spot on these cars. Replacements are not readily available. They show up used now and again. RivNut Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 I friend of mine who used to work for NAPA says that switches from a mid-70's Thunderbird will work in place of the switches in the 1st gen.
