RivNut
Send me a pm, I'll send you an email with an illustration from a chassis manual that shows where the hole need to be for the seat belts. These belts are lap belts only, there is no provision for a shoulder belt.OR if someone will tell me how to put pictures/illustrations on this forum, I'll do it for everyone.Ed
RivNut
Here's the illustration from the chassis manual showing the location of the rear seat belt holes for the '64 Riv. Special thanks to Alex B. for telling me how to post the pictures.Ed
TexRiv_63
I did this installation in my 63. The threaded sockets are in the floor for the front belts with rubber plugs in them from the factory. Take out the plugs, make sure the threads are OK, and you are good to go. You have to drill 1/2" holes for the rear in the location shown on Ed's diagram, but there are dimples in the metal to locate the holes. If you need to buy the belts, Ssnake-Oyl made mine, good quality and large color choice, ask them for samples before picking the color.
