jimtash
I want to replace the washer switch on my 63 Riviera and I need help removing the round inner bezel that holds it in place. Obviously there was some kind of tool used to do it going by the notches that are present but since it's probably easier to hit the lottery than to locate one, what would be the easiest way to unscrew it without damaging it? TexRiv_63
Jim, first remove the knob and washer button by loosening the small allen head screw at the knob base. Use a fairly large screwdriver with the end taped or wrapped and put it in the slot, gently tap counter clockwise to unscrew the retainer. Hopefully it will not be too tight. I have removed mine this way a number of times without damage.
