WTP '65 Riviera Rally Wheels

Anyone know of a set of used Rally wheels for sale for a '65 Riv that are good enough for re-chroming? Please let me know.

I think these are from a later model like the ones that came out on the boat tails. If you look through some of the early issues of the Riview, there are articles that go into great detail explaining how to tell all of the variations apart.

The ebay wheels look like later "Boat Tail" ones. "Rivman" was kind enough to write to me on the ROA Forum explaining all ther is to know about these wheels. I am now a RIV wheel "Maven."

Appears the '64 Show wheels are painted silver. I won't even try to re-paint them black. When I touch a tool, any tool, strange things happen. So, I leave everything up to someone else to do it correctly. Unfortunately, that's the way it is.

Joe,

When you get the plating done, contact the list again for the correct color paint for the inserts. I know that in one of the past Riviews the DuPont formula for the correct color is listed.

Hey Joe,

Make sure when you look at the wheel that nimrod suggested that you note it comes only in the 4.75" bolt circle for the Skylark series, not the 5" bolt circle you need for your Riv. The 57 series is the two piece design that was popular for the Skylark Gran Sports.

Ed,it was my glasses.It reads BOLT CIRCLE 5-4 3/4".Didn't take the time to read bolt circle and figure out what they ment.
