64 - how to take the rear package shelf out?

want to take the rear package shelf out of my 64, dont want to just start pulling on pieces...so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I think that once you remove the rear seat, you'll be able to figure it out. First remove the solid piece between the rear seat backs that is below the speaker grill. A window trim removal tool will help you remove it. Then take out the lower seat buns and you'll be able to see how the seat back is bolted in. Remove the bolts and lift the back of the seat up and out. You'll see all the attaching hardware. I haven't done this for a looooooong time, but once you get the seats out you'll be able to see what else needs to come out. There is nothing in the chassis or body manuals that cover the removal so it must be pretty simple.

It should be pretty obvious but you also need to remove all of the metal trim pieces around the shelf and there are a few screws that attach the shelf to the bodt below the rear window.
