BuickCrazy
I am looking for the metal strips that attach the rocker molding to the front quarter panel on a 1970 Rivi. Are these reproduced or is there something that can be used in it's place? I also need the round mounting clips that attach the rocker molding to the doors and rear quarter panel. Thanks!Randy
68RIVGS
Don't think they are reproduced. On my '68, using the old thin galvanized ones as a pattern, I had some new ones made out of stainless steel. I was able to obtain the round dimpled mounting washers from a moulding clip vendor in Carlisle PA. They should be a fairly common item, as they were used on all GM vehicles. Check with your local dealer, or body shop - they may be able to help.
