Les67riv
Is there any advice anyone would want to pass along as I prepare to r/r a fan clucth on my 67? Quite possibly this is the original fan clutch, as we have driven the car 196,000 miles, and I have no record of it being replaced. Thanks, Les
Guest dcdpgh
Les,Funny you should ask this as I just replaced the fan clutch on my '68 last night. Since both years use the 430 motor, I suspect the '67 and '68 would be very similar. I am not a hard core mechanic, and I found this to be very straight forward r/r procedure. Anything in particular you are concerned about?BTW - I was motivated to replace the clutch as I had observed the fan blades "freewheeling" much to long for my liking after shutting off the engine. Les67riv
Thanks Dan. Classic Motor world/Classic Buick has mailed the fan clutch, so I will see how it fits when I receive it.I appreciate the help!Les LeeROA #6726
