Cargirl Posted April 27, 2015 Share Posted April 27, 2015 A quick question. I recently removed the "BUICK" tail light emblems and polished the tail light. Wow, what a difference! Looks like new. I removed the old tape that holds the emblems to the tail light and have emblem glue. My question is, the old tape is like 1/16th on an inch thick. If I install the emblems with no tape, they may look "off." Recessed too deep in the tail light. Should I cut out of gasket material the letters and then use glue, gasket, more glue and then the emblem on top? I am very particular and want it to look right. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
