Vintage European Rally Participant Plates - SLS Sauerland Horneland Mobil Economy Run +++ 1950-1960s

From a large collection recently acquired from the Netherlands - I have available a good number of vintage rally participant plates from the 1950s / 1960s. These are aluminum and similar size / weight to a license plate (unless indicated).

All show evidence of rally use / age, including surface scuffing / scratches, extra drilled holes / wear around the mounting holes, warping, etc. Please message for more detailed condition of specific pieces or for extra photos.

I do not know the individual histories of these pieces (sold as found), though I'm sure that with some research you could identify which car / driver used each plate. Cars that participated in these rallies include: Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Saab, Austin Healey, MG, Jaguar, Mini, etc.

These are very rare and would make a fantastic addition to any collection. They have a really great vintage look for the walls of a home, business or garage!
