DeSoto701
NOS / New Old Stock electric operated automatic gas cap made by Snap-up....I believe this is a mopar accessory remote operated fuel / gas door. I believe this was a Chrysler accessory offered in the 1940's and up, for Dodge DeSoto Chrysler Plymouth.....may fit other models. The condition is good to very good...without the original packaging. It does have some minor shelf wear and a scratches. under the chrome, nothing serious. I tested it and it appears to work fine. Asking $50 obo, plus shipping. Thank You for looking. DeSoto701
I used 6V to test the cap and work fine. The reason was that the applications for that era was 6 volts. Thank you for your interest, have a Great Day

roysboystoys
They were made for many makes , I had one in a " Hudson Accessory" box. Same unit. Came with a push button switch.A starter button would work. The missing clips are easily made.
