I've been whittling down my project list for the 2 90 coupes. I finally tackled the one that scared the heck out of me. I'm glad I did. Need I say more than this picture?

<a href="http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/pontiacdude210/media/90%20Reatta%20Coupe/20150321_130001_zpscdnmlidv.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah128/pontiacdude210/90%20Reatta%20Coupe/20150321_130001_zpscdnmlidv.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20150321_130001_zpscdnmlidv.jpg"/></a>

On a northern car, I recommend cutting some accesses into the frame to heat the nut. I broke the first bolt with just PB Blaster, the rest went like butter with heat applied though.

<a href="http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/pontiacdude210/media/90%20Reatta%20Coupe/20150321_134531_zpsdhah26hu.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah128/pontiacdude210/90%20Reatta%20Coupe/20150321_134531_zpsdhah26hu.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20150321_134531_zpsdhah26hu.jpg"/></a>

We welded the hole shut then duraglass over it, re sprayed under coat, and it isn't noticeable. And if you bust the bolt, you'll be doing it anyway. Might as well not bust the bolt and cut the access.

Thanks to Machiner 55 and Daniel for their research on these.

Next week I tackle rear struts and gas tank replacement. Thanks to Ronnie's store for supplying the right parts, as usual.

PD210,

1.) Good job!

2.) Your welcome.

3.) Gotta do this to my '90 soon. Wanted to do it this winter but my wife had other plans. And, the engine cradle (subframe) on her Olds decided to detach itself from the car body. As soon as I figure out a way to post the pics from my iPad, I'll post the dramatic images.

4.) How's the ride now that you have the stiffer cushions?

Good work, Very happy that the write-up on the Dorman's worked for you. Machiner: I have finally gotten my car back on the road since I did my Cradle mounts. Since I have no reference on what a new Reatta would have felt like ride wise. With new tires (factory size), new cradle mounts, new FT sway bar end links, new rear Strut, and 100K miles on the Orig FT Struts. The drive is smooth, Car absorbs most road imperfections very well, Handles very well, nice and stable. This is the smoothest Firm Driving Car I have ever driven from GM. I can see now why they are such nice cruisers. Now if the car would stop me having to keep fixing things that always seem to cost $100 a shot then I can enjoy it more. But considering where it was its getting there. Just Re-did the Headlights, Now it time for the exhaust.

Very God Job on the install.

The write up did help a lot. I feel like I've forgotten to thank a lot of people involved in educating me on this process. As usual, you guys rock :D

And I'm trying something new with the taillights. Still cloudy more than I'd like, but way visible.

The tail light looks great, now you should turn on the lights so we can see how bright they are.

Fine sanded the crap out of them and cleared. No more blacked out look. College me would be disappointed.
