starlightcoupe Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Knute Rockne was named Manager of Sales Promotion for the Studebaker Corporation.Twelve days later, March 31, 1931, he died in a plane crash just outside Bazaar, KS.The Rockne production line at the Detroit plant did not begin moving until February of 1932; in spite of any photos Mr. Quinn can produce to prove otherwise!
