cpwalter Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 There is a difference between the 37 and the 38 emergency brake set up. In 1938 the brake handle was moved from the floor to under the dash which required the emergency brake setup to be reversed. In 1937 the linkage is on the right side looking at it from the rear. In 1938 it was moved to the left. Easy way to tell which year the transmission is if the emergency brake is still attached to it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
