Guest 53 Roady
I received a kit from Bob's which worked well on the rear quarter window. I used the tiny #4 screws he provided and they hid well. My question is about the front door window outer glass run weatherstrip which I think attaches to the window reveal molding. I thought this would be easier because there are 6 holes which attach this molding and 4 of them are located properly to attach the weatherstrip. The neat small headed factory screws are #8 though and the heads are .25. There are no staple holes in the stainless reveal. It looks like there may have been a special fuzzy strip with snaps which could seat in rectangular holes below. I have not seen any source for this special wide bodied fuzzy and I have no remains of one. Can anyone advise me what was done originally and how you may have dealt with this dilemma?
