1957 Fiesta 371 with Large capacity oil pan. Was this an option without J2?

I have a two owner Fiesta that has 106K original miles. The Engine block is correctly coded for 57. the car has been stored since 1973. The oil pan is the same large capacity pan that my 57 98 with the J2 option had. My question is, could you order your Fiesta with the base motor and large capacity Oil pan? I would guess for heavy duty use like towing etc. Some knowledgeable input would be appreciated

I have seen that oil pan on a 61 2 bbl 394 and looked to have came from the factory,I thought that oil pan was only a 57/58 option so it looks to have been available on other then J2 motors and a little newer too.
