Wooden Body Parts 1928 President

Would like drawings of the wooden body components for restoring the cowling of a 1928 President. Also, which type of wood was used? Oak or Ash?

I think I can say with some certainty that drawings don't exist for your car. Use any remaining wood as a pattern. Failing that, maybe someone else has done the job and at least taken photographs, otherwise you're pretty much on your own. A good hardwood such as ash or oak was used. (My car had both in it.)

If the original body is that far gone maybe consider building a speedster with it.

Check with the Studebaker museum archives. I have purchased the full sized body prints to scale from them for my 29 and 31 president roadsters. They show the wood patterns. I did see older prints there than mine.
