haroldstrust
Was wondering if anyone can help ID this hubcap. It is 15 inch diameter, so probably from early 1950's. Do not recognize emblem or logo. Is it aftermarket ? Thanks for the help
keiser31
That is a LYON wheel cover....aftermarket. look on the underside of the outer edge to find the name. LYON made many different styles and most of them carry the center emblem. Look at these....https://www.google.com/search?q=LYON+wheel+cover+photo&biw=1014&bih=609&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=E2EEVeSpJcXbsAT6i4KoAQ&ved=0CCQQsAQ

Curti
Is there any rust on either side of the hubcap ? If there is rust, they are made of mild steel and more than likely a repo. If no rust, they are stainless. I would look at European cars.
keiser31
I believe it's stainless.
