Rusty_OToole
Is there a grease fitting? For the universal joint, about 1/2 pump to 1 pump of the grease gun, stop when grease oozes out. If there is a slip joint, 1 or 2 pumps. This should be part of a regular lubrication or grease job. Get them while you are doing the fittings on the front suspension, steering, etc.
Guest kelowna
Thanks for the reply .Rusty_OTooleYes there is a grease fitting. But with the housing, you can't see what the grease is doing . It says in the book one quick shot. I just bought this old tank with original 38,000 miles. What I do not know is, if the previous owner greased the propeller shaft at all. The car was sitting in a garage for 40 years.
