2as
I have a 1915 Metz 22 body made with plywood . It looks orginal. The original body and metal apear to have been orange. It is a roadster body not 1913 special or 1914 speedster. There is some orange around the edges of the body. Any help or thoughts about the plywood. Luv2Wrench
Congrats on the Metz! We'd love to see some pictures. The wood panels on my Metz were regular wood and not plywood. Plywood was in use in the US before the time of the Metz so it is possible for it to be original though I don't think the Metz company used plywood. MochetVelo
Metz used steel for their bodies, not wood. As Jeff says, post some photos so we can see what you have.Phil
