1941 Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 I DROVE my '41 Cabriolet with a freshly rebuilt V12 600 miles to the Museum opening last summer , only to arrive with the clatter of valves. Several people told me aboutMMO (Marvel Mystery Oil ) , 4oz. per 10 gallons of gas. I immediately bought some before the return trip . After driving LESS thank 10 miles back to the Hotel , the clatter was GONE. It has been greatly heralded on the Ford Barn for years ; I am now a true believer. Thanks for any informationUnleaded fuel will not do any damage to your valve train. Our V12s and the V8s of the same era has hardened seats.
