Guest Tbird55
I am going to convert the front brakes on a 55 T Bird from drum to discs (front brakes only leaving the rear as I am told it is seldom a success to convert the rears). Presently I am researching the best kit to purchase. Does anyone have any experience fitting to a 1955 T Bird --- the front disc brake kit as offered by Prestige Thunderbird which includes a new master cylinder as part of the kit (I am told it is a bolt straight on modification using the original spindles), I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has used this kit, and their opinion and thoughts on how the modification turned out and how the car's braking works with this kit (using the original booster as fitted to the car originally).Much easier to hear from someone who has already done what I am intending to do.Thank you to anyone replying to this postRegardsTBird
