Guest rls65rls Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) hello again, this car is stressing me out. can I take the motor out without taking the fender off. any tricks the book doesn't show. looks rather difficult, expecially when trying to but it back in, lining everything back up. thanks again, don't know what Id do without you guys. the motor needs to be rebuilt maybe wiperworks. Seafoam65 Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) You can take the motor off if you remove the hood and the left hood hinge. Be sure to scribe around the hinge where it bolts to the hood so that you can easily put the hood back in the same place later. Also make a note of where the bolt heads sit in the slots where the hood hinge bolts to the fender so you can put it back in the same position.
